Job Description:

The Community Liaison will play a crucial role in representing the AtLink brand in communities across the metro and Oklahoma. This position requires a proactive and outgoing individual who thrives in community engagement and is passionate about promoting internet connectivity as a vital resource for individuals and businesses.

Responsibilities:

• Represent the company on a daily basis in our market communities. Attend festivals, special events and local school functions in the communities within the assigned territory.

• Regularly interact and collaborate with local chambers of commerce in assigned communities.

• Establish and maintain relationships with local personalities and thought leaders in assigned communities.

• Meet and engage with school representatives regarding potential opportunities for event and team sponsorships.

• Assist the Marketing Director in creating and managing content for local community related social media posts and engage with social media groups that are active in the assigned communities.

• Schedule and set up marketing tents in various public and private business venues to visit with the public, share info and gather marketing leads for the AtLink’s sales teams.

• Utilize provided AtLink branded vehicle, fuel card, appropriate marketing collateral to increase brand awareness and lead development in assigned communities.

• Work with the Marketing Director to recommend sponsorship and PR opportunities via festivals, events, and school-related sponsorships in assigned communities.

• Assist the Marketing Director in recruiting local part-time brand ambassadors and or marketing interns who are capable of assisting the Community Liaison at events, festivals, and local school activities.

Requirements:

• Marketing, communications, public relations or sales experience is a plus or 2+ years of direct field experience representing a corporate brand in a similar role and function.

• Previous experience in community outreach, marketing, or related fields is a major plus.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.

• Ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders including community leaders, government officials, business owners and AtLink team members.

• Proficiency in social media content creation, management and engagement is required.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

• Ability to work flexible hours including many weekends and evenings.

Job Responsibilities / Qualifications (include, but not limited to):

As an AtLink Tower Technician, you will be performing mission critical activities assisting with the construction, installation and maintenance of telecommunication towers and supporting structures. As a Tower Technician, daily activities include on-site installation, repair and modification on a variety of equipment on infrastructures which include various tower types and heights. Expected tasks for this position include, but not limited to:

• Tower Technicians must be willing and able to climb towers in order to perform job duties.

• Tower Techs are responsible for proper tower rigging as well as installation of various items on the tower such as antennas, coax, lighting, and connectors.

• Tower Technicians must be prepared to work in all weather conditions, as job is primarily outdoors during all seasons.

• The nature of climbing required for this position is physically demanding.

• Must have the ability to regularly lift at least 75 lbs on uneven terrain.

• Crew members are frequently kneeling, bending, stooping, stretching and standing for extended periods of time.

• Maintain clean, orderly environment adhering to company policies and industry regulation/standard(s) (OSHA).

• Be available for evening, weekends, and rotational assignments; accepting on-call responsibilities

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience is preferred, but on the job training and certification is provided.

• Be willing to travel when needed.

• Have an ability to work weekends when needed.

• Possess a safety-first mentality and be a team-oriented player.

• Must be able to pass a background check.

• Must have knowledge of basic hand tools and willingness to gain experience with power tools.

• Attend weekly meeting to report month to date sales and leads working and provide a plan on how goals will be met and exceeded

• Maintain a well-informed knowledge base of competitors’ activities throughout assigned territory; informs manager of any changing competitive pricing programs or marketing directions

• Attend and actively contribute to sales meetings and training programs

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

• Ability to travel to and from assigned territories and company facilities

• Ability to deal with the public in a professional manner and maintain favorable relations with customers, vendors and employees
